(Shore Transfers) Do you provide multiple hotel pick-ups and drop offs?

Yes, we provide shared transfers to and from Civitavecchia cruise port. The fee is 10Euros above the quoted transfer fare per additional stop. Please send us an email at info@romecabs.com and kindly provide us with all the pertinent information for additional stops, including number of additional passengers, names, and hotel name and address.

How do I find my driver at Fiumicino Airport?

Your Rome Cabs chauffeur will meet you at the Meeting Point, just after you exit the baggage claim area and enter the waiting area of the airport.

Where at the airport do we get dropped off?

Our guests are dropped off at the Terminal of the airline company they are departing with.

Where will our chauffeur pick us up at the Termini Train station?

Your chauffeur will meet you at the end of Platform 1 (near the pharmacy), holding a sign bearing your name.

When will you pick us up on departure day?

As a general rule we pick you up 3 hours before your flight departure time. For example, if your flight is schedule to depart at 12:00 PM, we will pick you up in Rome at 9:00 AM.

How do we pay for the transfer?

We accept payment in full in Euro funds at the end of the service.
We also accept payment in advance via Paypal.
We DO NOT accept credit cards.

Can I have a receipt?

Of course, just ask the driver, or we can email you an invoice for the service we provided for you.

Are your vehicles non-smoking? Air conditioned?

All of our cars are non-smoking and air-conditioned. Also, they meet all the safety requirements of the Italian Ministry of Transportation.

Why do you require 24 hour advance bookings?

In order to provide our clients with a private chauffeur, we must check for availability and assign our clients a chauffeur with proper size vehicle. All arrangements are made during our office hours.

Can you make extra stops during the transfer or offer some sightseeing on the way to the hotel?

Certainly. You may book our VIP Transfer Service that includes 1 or 2 hours you can spend sight seeing in Rome, shopping, or choose anything you might need to do during this time.

What is included in the transfer fare?

Your quoted fare includes a private deluxe vehicle with a professional chauffeur licensed by the municipality of Rome, fuel cost (which runs approximately 20% of the fare) applicable tolls, insurance, airport parking fees, Italy’s 23% VAT tax. Gratuity is not included.

Not included in the standard transfer fare are gratuities, mini tours to Rome’s tourist attractions, additional unscheduled stops on the way to your hotel, guaranteed English speaking Chauffeurs, running commentary by chauffeur.

Can I pay by credit card?

No, we do not accept credit card payments. Payments are made in Euro funds at the end of your journey. Our vehicles are not equipped with portable credit card facilities, therefore we cannot accept credit card payments on the day of the service. ATM machines are available at the airport, otherwise your driver will gladly assist you in locating an ATM machine if you need to withdraw funds. If you prefer to pre-pay in advance if your tour, we recommend payment made viaPayPal.

Can I pre-pay in advance so I don't have to worry about money on the day of the transfers?

Certainly. You may pay us in advance via PayPal, which is a secure and quick way to pay for your services in advance. You may also take advantage when currency exchange is in your favor to pre-pay then to save money later when rates change again.

How do I make a reservation with Rome Cabs?

Please use our online booking service and complete all the fields In the form.

It's just 2 of us, but we have too much luggage to fit into a sedan. Can we upgrade to a van?

Certainly. When you book your transfer you can see how many luggage pieces you can fit into our vehicles by visiting Our Fleet page. Whether you prefer more luggage room or a roomier vehicle for your own personal comfort, we can upgrade you to a deluxe van for an extra fee of 5 Euros. Please specify this when you book your transfer so we can reserve the proper vehicle for you. Failure to inform us of your vehicle needs in advance may make it difficult for us to provide it for you last minute if vehicles you request are not available.

Can I make my reservations by phone or through our hotel concierge?

No. In order to ensure your reservation is made correctly, we only accept reservations made via email.

What are "must sees" on the first visit?

Our Rome Cabs tours of Rome highlight all the must see places and some hidden surprises! We offer excellent tours outside of Rome, as well through our sister company Stefano Rome Tours.

When should I make a reservation?

As soon as you have your flight information. We require at least 24 hours to process your reservation, therefore we cannot guarantee service for bookings made less than 24 hours in advance.

For visits during peak travel months (May through October) we recommend you book your transfers as far in advance as possible as we get booked fast during those months.
