Transfers from Rome to Civitavecchia are available between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
We cannot confirm availability before 11:00 AM — please plan accordingly.

Transfers to/from CIAMPINO AIRPORT:

• Transfers between CIAMPINO AIRPORT and Civitavecchia are 20 EUROS EXTRA due to the  longer distance and travel time
  
  

Night-Time Transfer Fee:

• Transfers scheduled between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM are 30 EUROS EXTRA

PAYMENT and CANCELLATION:

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

Payment for your transfer can be made in one of the following ways:

• In Euros directly to your driver on the day of your transfer
• Prepaid in advance via PayPal or Credit Card (processed securely through PayPal during the confirmation process)

All online credit card payments are handled by PayPal to ensure maximum safety and data protection.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

Cancellations of Civitavecchia Transfers must be made in writing via Email at least 48 HOURS prior to your Date and Time of Service.

Prepaid transfers are refunded the net amount we receive after payment processing fees are deducted.  PayPal processing service retains a non-refundable processing fee, which is not reimbursed to us upon cancellation. Your refund will equal the service cost minus these transaction fees (the reduced amount we actually receive from your payment).

Booking Availability:

• Dates that are not selectable on the booking form are not available.
• Each transfer must be booked separately using the request form on the right-hand side of this page.
• Additional transfers cannot be submitted through the Special Request box.

Transfers from Airport to Civitavecchia:

• Only one flight arrival per booking is accepted for transfers from the airport to Civitavecchia.
• On the form, please select your actual flight arrival time under “Estimated Time.”

Email & Booking Requests Response Times:

• Allow up to 48 hours (business days only) for processing your transfer request and confirming availability.
• Booking confirmations are sent by email, subject to availability.

 MEETING POINTS – Where to Meet Your RomeCabs Driver

*  CIVITAVECCHIA CRUISE PORT:

Your RomeCabs driver will meet you directly on the pier next to your ship, holding a sign with the name on your reservation. Please proceed to the Private Driver / Limo Driver area. 

Important: Do not take any buses or shuttles away from the port. This applies to all private transfers and shore excursions from Civitavecchia.

*  ROME HOTELS / ACCOMMODATIONS

For transfers from Rome to Civitavecchia Port:

• Hotels with a lobby – your driver will meet you inside the hotel lobby or in the designated pick-up area.
• Apartments or B&Bs without a lobby – your driver will meet you outside the main entrance of your pick-up address.
• Restricted traffic areas – if your accommodation is on a street where vehicles cannot transit or stop, your driver will park as close as lawfully possible, meet you on foot, and escort you to the parked vehicle.

Tip: If door-to-door service is important, be sure that your hotel or apartment is located on a street accessible to cars or vans.

For Your Safety: Upon meeting your driver, always ask them to confirm your Reservation Number before departing. This ensures you are traveling with your official RomeCabs driver and not with an unauthorized tout.

* FIUMICINO AIRPORT (FCO)

TERMINALS 1, 3:

After clearing customs and collecting your luggage in the Baggage Claim area, exit into the main Waiting Hall. Your driver will meet you in the Designated Driver Area marked by large green columns labeled N.C.C. / Limo Drivers, where other professional drivers wait for their clients.

At FCO Airport, all passengers exit from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 (even if your airline lists Terminal 2 or Terminal 5). Your driver monitors airport arrival screens to confirm your exit point.

Designated Parking at Fiumicino Airport:

All professional driver service vehicles must park in the Designated Parking Area, approximately 300 meters from the terminal. Curbside pick-up is prohibited by airport security.

Ciampino is a smaller airport than Fiumicino Airport, which makes it easy to locate your driver waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. Ciampino Airport has only 1 exit. Your driver will meet you outside the terminal, just after you exit through the sliding doors.

ROME'S AIRPORTS FLIGHT MONITORING:

We actively monitor arriving flights for delays and will adjust your pick-up accordingly.

Unexpectedly Early Flight Arrivals:  If your flight lands significantly earlier than scheduled and the change is not announced in time, your driver will arrive at your originally booked flight arrival time.
In this case, there are cafés inside the terminal where you can relax while waiting.

Flight Delays:  If your flight is delayed, we will send the first available driver upon your arrival. On busy days, last-minute changes may mean your driver cannot be at the terminal exactly when you land. You can wait comfortably at one of the cafés inside the terminal building.

Changes to Your Reservation

Last-minute changes to confirmed Civitavecchia Port transfers can only be accommodated based on availability. We strongly recommend making any changes at least 72 Hours in advance to ensure service availability.

Luggage Assistance / Porter Service
